Special Education Rights in San Diego, CA

Many parents we have spoke to were not cognizant of the laws and regulations that were drafted for special needs education. For example in 1975 the Individuals with Disabilities Education ACT (IDEA) was created. Initially named the Education for All Handicapped Children Act, the fundamental was to provide a free appropriate public education (FAPE) to children with special needs, and giving the parents the power to make certain decisions regarding the curriculum.

Though many protective laws have been put in place, parents and legal guardians found it problematic to obtain the accommodations, support, and services for their child’s education. Tsadik Law has guided and represented hundreds of families, and we would be happy to fight to secure the provisions your child is legally entitled to.
